(New York,N.Y.)-The names of several residents of the sixth district who participated in search and rescue efforts in Haiti, was recently brought to Senator Kemp Hannon’s attention.  The Senator is reaching out to the constituents in his district to contact his Community Office if you or someone you know, also participated in the rescue efforts in Haiti.

New York State has a prestigious Liberty Award that is given to those individuals who have done gallant acts.  Senator Hannon would like to give this award to those in his district who helped save lives in Haiti.  The Senator will need to know what group the person was with, what were their exact duties, and their name, address and phone number.

You can reach Senator Hannon’s Community office at 516-739-1700.  For important information about New York State and to sign-up for e-mail updates, remember to visit www.kemphannon.com .
