Paul Granger of H2M Helped Raise Money for the 2nd Annual Making Strides for Better Bones

(Melville, N.Y.)– On Saturday, October 24, the Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) Foundation held its 2nd annual Making Strides for Better Bones Wheel and Walk. People walked, ran and wheeled around Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY to help raise money for the OI Foundation. Paul J. Granger, P.E. has a mild form of OI and represented H2M, a multi-disciplined Architectural, Engineering, Planning and Environmental service firm, at the Better Bones Wheel and Walk.
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a genetic brittle bone disorder that affects as many as 50,000 people in the U.S. The variations of OI are extreme, ranging from just a few fractures to several hundred within a lifetime; the most severe type of OI is most often fatal for infants, and there is no cure. The Foundation helps to provide answers to families, fund research, and maintain a network of support groups by raising money.
Making Strides for Better Bones is a series of walk and wheel events throughout the country designed to: Build awareness of Osteogenesis Imperfect (OI); Promote activities that lead to better bone health; and Raise support for the Foundation’s research, education, awareness, and mutual support activities.
Mr. Granger has over 19 years experience of water supply/resources management, design and operations and resides in Levittown, NY with his wife Dina and Daughter Alexis . Mr. Granger holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University and is a licensed professional engineer in New York State (NYS). He recently started an Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) support group to help people find out more information about the bone disorder.
