Teresa Golde Joins New Island Hospital As Director Of Nursing/Emergency Department

(Bethpage, N.Y.)– New Island Hospital (www.newislandhospital.org) in Bethpage, NY welcomes Teresa Golde, RN, MBA, BSN, as Director of Nursing/Emergency Department (ED). In her new role, Ms. Golde will manage a multi-professional team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of nursing care in the Emergency Department.
Prior to joining New Island Hospital, Ms. Golde, a Shirley resident, was ED Director of Nursing and Stroke Coordinator at Mercy Medical Center. She has also served as Patient Care Director at NY Presbyterian and Administrative Nurse Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing at Montefiore Medical Center.
Ms. Golde earned a B.S. in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle and an M.S. in Business Administration (Health Care Management) from Warren National University. She is a member of American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Emergency Nurses Association.
