(Melville, NY) – H2M, a multi-disciplined engineering, architectural and environmental service firm, is proud to announce that Timothy J. Ward successfully passed the National Association of Coatings Engineers (NACE) Coating Inspector Program (CIP) level 2 course. Mr. Ward is now classified as a CIP Level 2 coatings inspector.
NACE International was originally known as “The National Association of Corrosion Engineers” when it was established in 1943. The NACE International mission is to protect people, assets, and the environment from the effect of corrosion. Each coatings professional is evaluated on his/her mastery of coatings type, surface preparation, coatings application and inspection, contract planning/management, development of specifications, and the economics of protective coatings.
Timothy J. Ward of Bayport, NY, joined H2M in 2005 as a Junior Coatings Inspector in the Coatings Inspection group; Mr. Ward is responsible for performing the inspection of water storage facilities, painting and rehabilitations.
