(Long Island, N.Y.) Hip young Hamptonites have found a Sunday hang on the sweeping lawns, behind the hedges surrounding the Southampton Inn. The brunch-meets-pool party model took wing at OSO at the Southampton Inn this weekend and will continue every Sunday. With House DJ Derrick Reason of Spotlight New York spinning an Ibiza soundtrack, a flock of young Hamptonites turned out for the soft launch this Sunday hosted by Sidi Belqaid and Liz Derringer.
OSO executive chef Bryan Naylor whose culinary creations have been termed “pure food ecstasy” will be busy churning out pizzettes and tapas for the hungry crowd refueling after a night of club hopping. Belqaid and Derringer both East End club scene veterans hope to run the brunch blast throughout the summer. Why not with 5 acres of very private space, a great pool, free parking, fab cocktails and a South of the highway location, OSO is poised to take over the daytime action for the young hipsters. The poolside-brunch party runs Sundays Rain or Shine from Noon to 4pm. Admission is free.
