Dennis M Kelleher of H2M Received The John M Diven Award From The AWWA

Kelleher, P.E., Senior Vice President, Director of Water Resources from H2M, a multi-disciplined Engineering, Architectural, Planning and Environmental services firm, was recently honored by the New York Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) with the John M. Diven Award.  The AWWA is an international organization of the public water supply professionals with over 57,000 members.
 
The Diven Award is presented annually to the New York Section member who, in the tradition of Jack Diven, has completed outstanding services for the New York Section. On Tuesday, April 21 in Saratoga Springs, NY, Dennis M. Kelleher, P.E. was presented with the honor during the AWWA Spring Meeting Banquet.
 
Dennis M. Kelleher, P.E. has been an active member of the American Water Works Association, New York Section since 1986, was Chairman of the organization in 2006, Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee and Member of Program and Education Committees. 
 
Mr. Kelleher, a resident of Centereach, NY is a New York Licensed Professional Engineer and joined H2M in 1978.  Mr. Kelleher directs a wide variety of water supply, storage and treatment facilities, design and construction management projects. Under Mr. Kelleher’s direction, H2M’s water supply section provides engineering services to over 30 public water systems on Long Island.  Mr. Kelleher also manages H2M’s Water Supply Tank Inspection Department.  Mr. Kelleher’s experience at H2M also includes project management within H2M’s Municipal Wastewater Treatment Section.  Mr. Kelleher has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
