VHB Names Richard M. Dupuis, P.E. Team Leader, Land Development Group

dupuis_richard.jpg (Hauppauge, N.Y.) VHB Engineering, Surveying and Landscape Architecture, P.C. today announced that Richard M. Dupuis, P.E. has been named as a team leader in the firm’s Land Development Group. Mr. Dupuis, a senior project manager, will be responsible for civil engineering design and permitting for a wide range of site development projects for institutional, corporate and public sector clients. His civil engineering experience includes site engineering, feasibility studies, hydraulics, environmental permitting, and construction management and administration.
 
Prior to Mr. Dupuis’ new position on Long Island, he worked in the firm’s Providence, Rhode Island and Watertown, Massachusetts offices. Since beginning his career at VHB in 1997 he has contributed to a number of high profile developments including the 225,300 square foot Texas Instruments Research and Development Center in Attleboro, Massachusetts; Pointe South Mountain Resort-Watergarden, a 6-acre water recreation facility in Phoenix, Arizona; and the 450,000 square foot campus of Reebok’s World Headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts.

Mr. Dupuis earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in 1997. He is an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and belongs to the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Dupuis recently relocated to Stony Brook, New York from VHB’s office in Rhode Island.
