Robert Bee, RA of H2M Has Earned US Green Building Council Leed Professional Accreditation

(Melville, N.Y.) – H2M, an Architectural, Engineering, Environmental, Planning and Laboratory Analysis firm is pleased to announce that Robert F. Bee, RA has earned the U. S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) status. The LEED Green Building Rating System is designed to encourage energy and resource conservation in the construction and operation of buildings.
LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Green Building Rating System.
Mr. Bee, a resident of Rockville Centre, NY, joined H2M in 2005 and presently works in the architectural studio that handles the firms Fire District and Municipal work. His responsibilities include coordinating all phases of public projects including but not limited to the development of the designs; generating construction documents; preparing specifications; bidding and contract awarding; construction administration; permitting through local building departments and New York State Education Department; as well as being a liaison between the contractor and client. Mr. Bee, a Registered Architect in the state of New York, has a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and is a member of the AIA Long Island chapter.
