November 20, 2008
(Long Island, N.Y.) Toys of Hope, (http://www.toysofhope.org) a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and needy children, families and their pets by providing items necessary to help live a happy and fulfilling life, is announcing the 7th Annual Jammin’ for the Kids Charity Event.
The sole purpose of this event is to unite the Local Long Island Music Scene for a worthy cause. The goal is to assist Toys of Hope with their personal mission to provide toys, books, clothing, activities and other items to needy and homeless children and their families during this holiday season.
The guiding principal behind the Toys of Hope mission is that all children, regardless of financial status, race, religion or nationality, are deserving of those things which can help give them a happier and more fulfilling life. A new toy can mean everything to a needy or homeless child. It provides fun and enjoyment and gives a child a sense of pride in having something of their very own.
