Presales Engineer Recognized for Effective Management and Client Satisfaction

(Holbrook, N.Y.) Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. has announced that Steve Vames, Presales Engineer, has won a Top 20 Techies Award from LISTnet, the Long Island Software and Technology Network. The Babylon resident has worked at Future Tech for four years.

The objective of LISTnet is to promote Long Island as one of the national centers of excellence for Software and Technology solutions. This is achieved by facilitating collaborations between companies, establishing forums and events for the exchange of information, improving the quantity of the labor force and partnering with companies that provide the High technology Centers necessary for the growth of Long Island software and technology companies.

Steve is the third Future Tech associate to earn this prestigious award. He is being recognized for his work in managing the Presales Team and for his ability to deliver projects with a keen eye on client satisfaction.

In the words of his manager, Future Tech CIO Bill Kohler, “Steve is there at the very first meeting to capture all pertinent data, assess the unique customer situation, and recommend solutions that keep our customers in business. His project management skills and ability to see the big picture as well as the small details make Steve an important member of Future Tech’s Technical Services team.”

Mr. Vames was also honored this year with a LISTnet Top Software Award for Viewport™ PIMM™. He was the team architect for the development of PIMM and its additional services, which include VoIP, Exchange, and software monitoring integration. Mr. Vames has also helped develop FTEI disaster recovery strategy utilizing iFortress, VMware, and Double-Take technologies.

This year’s Top 20 Techies will be recognized at LISTnet’s awards ceremony December 9 at the Garden City Hotel.
